In this module, we shed light on the fundamental concepts of clinical psychology, which form the cornerstone for understanding and treating mental and behavioral disorders. We will explore topics such as mental health, psychopathology, the nosography and classification of mental disorders, personality and behavioral disorders, projective tests, psychotherapy, pharmacotherapy, among other crucial topics.
Additionally, we provide comprehensive guideline models on how to write referral letters, psychological assessment, psychological report, case presentation, all presented in three languages: English, and Arabic. This approach ensures accessibility for mental health professionals working in culturally and linguistically diverse environments.
في هذا المقياس، نسلط الضوء على المفاهيم الأساسية في علم النفس الإكلينيكي والتي تمثل حجر الزاوية لفهم وعلاج الاضطرابات النفسية والسلوكية. سنناقش مواضيع مثل؛ الصحة النفسية، وعلم النفس المرضي، والتصنيف المرضي، وعلم الأعراض، واضطرابات الشخصية والسلوك، والاختبارات الاسقاطية، العلاج الدوائي والعلاج النفسي، وغيرها من المواضيع ذات الأهمية الكبرى.
بالإضافة إلى ذلك، نقدم نماذج توجيهية متكاملة حول كيفية كتابة رسائل التوجيه، التقييم النفسي، التقرير النفسي، عرض الحالة؛ في بيئات متعددة اللغات. ستُعرض هذه المعلومات باللغات الإنجليزية، والعربية، لتكون أداة شاملة للمتخصصين في مجال الصحة النفسية الذين يتعاملون مع جمهور متنوع ثقافياً ولغوياً.

The English language program in the second semester encompasses several thematic areas related to clinical psychology. It focuses on introducing key terminology in psychopathology, alongside an overview of various psychological and behavioral disorders, diagnostic methods, and the major therapeutic approaches, including psychoanalytic, cognitive-behavioral, systemic, and humanistic perspectives. Through these topics, the program aims to develop students’ competence in understanding and using clinical psychological terminology in the English language.
